Welcome to Project Loreal
Providing comfort, hope, and healing to families grieving the loss of an infant through thoughtfully crafted custom memory boxes that honor their baby’s life and preserve cherished memories.
I’m deeply proud to share that Project Loreal has donated three Caring Cradles to support local communities. These cradles are now placed at the Reedley Birthing Center in Reedley, Clovis Community Medical Center in Clovis, and Fresno Regional Medical Center in Fresno. It means so much to be part of an effort that offers comfort, dignity, and care to families during their most difficult moments.” — Lorena Tapia
Project Loreal continues to place dozens of memory boxes in local hospitals to support bereaved families during their most difficult moments. Each custom memory box is thoughtfully created with love and intention. Inside, families will find a photo album, a journal, a pack of seedlings to plant and grow in honor of their baby, a pregnancy and infant loss memento, a tealight candle, and a variety of meaningful keepsakes. These boxes are more than items they are gentle reminders that their baby mattered, their grief is valid, and they are not alone. It is an honor to provide something tangible that offers comfort, remembrance, and hope during unimaginable loss.
“Our precious daughter, Loreal, was stillborn on April 7, 2014, at 34 weeks into an otherwise healthy pregnancy due to the umbilical cord being wrapped around her neck. In her honor, my mission is to keep Loreal’s memory alive while offering support and compassion to other parents navigating the profound journey of grief. The loss of a child is something a mother carries forever it is not something one simply overcomes.”
“Creating Project Loreal has become a meaningful way for me to navigate and process my ongoing grief. Through this journey, I am committed to offering compassion, understanding, and support to other families who have endured a similar loss. I will continue to honor Loreal’s life, celebrate her spirit, and preserve her memory for as long as I am here.”
